Happy Birthday, Asher!

My nephew Asher turned three this week. We celebrated with a dinosaur party on Saturday-it was such a gorgeous day!

He's been talking for days about the blue cupcake he was going to eat. "I'm going to eat a blue cupcake, and Daddy will eat a blue cupcake, and Sullivan will eat a blue cupcake. Blue like our eyes!"

Sullivan's 18 Month Checkup

I just realized I forgot to post about Sullivan's check up last month! It went well-he's meeting all his milestones and getting in about 7 teeth. No wonder he's been waking up so much at night.

He weighs 22 pounds, which is in the 5th percentile, and is 32 inches tall, which is in the 25th percentile. His head is 18 inches (50th percentile). He still screamed bloody murder while getting measured and weighed.

We were so thankful for a great checkup and a healthy boy!

First Library Visit

I was finally brave enough to take the boys to the library yesterday. I knew Fisher would love it, and I knew Sullivan would run around everywhere. They didn't disappoint. :)

I was a little tired when we left from having to chase runaway children, but I was so glad the boys had fun. Going to the library has always been one of my favorite things to do, and I know we'll have a lot of fun times there!

Of course, I've already had to read the same Thomas the Train book at least five times, so I'm slightly regretting my decision. That, and hoping Fisher learns how to read soon.

Phantom, Parks, and Swimming

My sisterJodie, my friend Bridget, and I got to see Phantom of the Opera at the Orpheum a few weeks ago. It's been a long time since I saw the show, and it didn't disappoint! We ate at the Majestic Grille before. So good!



We had a picnic and playtime at the park again.












Sullivan fed this goose. He has no fear!



We went swimming one last time before the pools close. It was already too cold for me to get in, but the boys loved it!

Safari Park Fun

Daddy was off last week, so we did several fun things with the boys. We drove to the safari park last Wednesday. The boys had a blast!! Sullivan was all about the animals being in his face, while Fisher just wanted his window rolled up! We can't wait to go again!
