A New Wrap and Yogurt Mountain Visit

My mom bought me a new wrap for the baby, and big brother was kind enough to let me try it out on him. I can't wait to wrap a teeny baby!

We took the boys to Yogurt Mountain last week. I think this is the first time we've taken them to get ice cream, and they enjoyed picking out their toppings!

This is a post workout, post night shift picture, so please excuse me! But someone loves to cheese!!

We Went to the Beach

We went on our annual beach trip in late June through early July. Of course I have a ton of pictures on my camera, but we know the likelihood of those making it on the blog...

The boys did great on the drive down! We only had to stop twice and they loved getting to watch movies on their DVD players.

Ready for the beach! They loved the sand and the water, which I was so thankful for!

Waiting for fireworks to start on the 4th and playing with Grayson.

This one does it right! He napped on the beach several days. We had some trouble with our sleeping arrangements at night (like being up for the day at 345), but those were short lived.

Flying the Olaf kite

Daddy getting some exercise in tossing the boys way up high

Watching the tractor smooth the sand one morning

And our family picture! Literally the only picture I made it in! I love spending time with my family and making these wonderful memories.

Memaw making her famous biscuits.

These boys love breakfast for dinner!

A Bee-utiful Baby Shower

My sisters and cousin were so sweet to throw me and baby #3 a little shower this weekend. It was a family shower, so it was nice to have my aunts, cousins, and grandparents all together to celebrate our new baby! I didn't get very many pictures, but everything was beautiful and I feel so blessed!

Celebrating Baby Nelson

My little sister hosted the shower at her new house. Thanks Jamie!

My older sister, Jodie, did the decor and the food, which was delicious. Thanks, Jodie! Mom and her girls...

Finally, a picture with one of my grandmothers. I've got more pictures on my camera, which I should really work on putting on the computer before I fill it up with squishy new baby pictures...

Third Trimester Thus Far...

The third trimester is rolling along, and it's almost time to have a baby! The baby who has no name, no nursery...oh well! We'll get it together eventually!

At 28 weeks, the heart rate was 148 at my checkup. I had my one hour glucose test (yuck!) and got my dtap shot. I've gained 20 pounds.

At 29 weeks, I found out I failed my glucose test and have to take the three hour test (boo!). My belly has been a little itchy and I've noticed myself becoming winded with some activities.

At 30 weeks, I had my three hour glucose test. My fasting sugar was 78 (pass), at one hour it was 173 (pass), at two hours it was 173 (fail), and at three hours it was 114 (pass). I don't have gestational diabetes! Yay! The heart rate was in the 130s.

At 31 weeks, Daddy was finally able to feel the baby move and watch my belly dance around. We were at the beach this week, and my feet were swollen after our drive home.

At 32 weeks, the heart rate was 132. The baby has had some major hiccups-I'm glad he/she is getting that diaphragm ready! I've been getting charley horses, which are painful!

At 33 weeks, I finally got around to washing some blankets and onsies for the baby. I'm getting uncomfortable doing certain activities, like bending over.

At 34 weeks, I washed the car seat cover. We had a checkup, but I didn't get the heart rate. I lost almost 4 pounds from my last visit, which is great! At 32 weeks, it was post-vacation weight, which was not that great. I think I've gained 21 pounds total, which I am extremely happy with! I also had a family baby shower, which I'll post pictures of shortly.

Fisher is 4! A Party, A Special Day, and a Checkup

Fisher turned 4 in June. Where have the years gone?! We celebrated the weekend before his birthday with a Thomas the Train party and a Paw Patrol cake. That's what he wanted, so that's what he got!

Isn't his cake amazing?! He loved it!

Posing before his party. He didn't want me to make him a special shirt, which was a little sad for me.

All the boys! Will we add another one to the mix next month?!

Covering his eyes while we got his present ready.

A new bicycle!

On his actual birthday, Fisher chose what he wanted to do. His first request was for donuts, so we went to Gibson's. The birthday boy got to pick whatever he wanted.

I think he liked it :)

This one was very happy to get his sprinkle donut.

Silly!

His next request was a visit to My Big Backyard.

Last stop-pizza for lunch.

Then it was home for naps. He slept great after his busy morning!

Trying out his bike

Visiting the doctor for his checkup. This is the first year he didn't scream while being weighed. Progress! He weighed in at 31.5 pounds (10-25th percentile). We were so excited to finally break into the 30 pound range!

He was 3 feet 3 inches tall (25th percentile).

No issues with getting his blood pressure checked.

Getting his finger pricked.

What a face! He didn't enjoy it at all, but didn't fuss. He made up for that when he got his shot, though...

Waiting on Dr. Catherine. He's so big! Funny story-he had to pee in a cup, which he was supposed to do last year, but that wasn't happening. This year, it wasn't a problem. He went, I set the cup on the back of the toilet and we were washing our hands. Sullivan walks up to the cup, grabs it, and ends up spilling urine all over himself! I just had to laugh...

We are so thankful for this little boy of ours who is growing much too fast for my liking. I'll post more party pictures when I get them off my camera.
