Easter Sunday!

Happy Easter! We're so blessed to serve a risen Savior! I hope that we never lose the wonder of hearing the story of Christ's resurrection and what it means for us!

I worked Saturday night and of course, also had to work Sunday night. The boys had planned on going to church, but Daddy is dealing with a nasty cough and congestion, so they didn't make it to church today. Instead, I napped for a few hours and then got up so we could go to my grandparent's for dinner.

the boys each got chalk, bubbles, sunglasses, bandaids, and a new shirt in their Easter baskets.

my newest niece, Kyle. She's such a sweetheart!

our growing family! We are so blessed.
So, no nice picture of us in all our Easter finery. But, I pray that we're constantly conveying to the boys that it's not about the clothes or the gifts, but about our hearts and being so thankful that we have a Savior who loved us enough to die for us!

Easter Weekend

We dyed eggs the Saturday before Easter. Our dye didn't work so well, but the boys really enjoyed it! I love this picture of them.

Easter goodies

I attempted to get a good picture or two. It didn't turn out quite like I wanted, but this is our season of life right now!

Easter 2015

We weren't able to make it to church on Easter, because Sullivan was running a fever (if I remember right). The boys still dressed up in their Easter shirts to wear to Memaw's for Easter dinner, and they also enjoyed the egg hunt at Buckhead.

A quick picture before we headed out to hunt eggs. I'm not going to mention how many it took to get a decent picture...

It was cold and wet! We wore rain boots and jackets all day.

He found two eggs, and that's all he wanted. Well, he really only wanted one egg, but I convinced him to find another one. He stopped and ate his candy, and he was happy!

Fisher wanted to find a few more eggs, and he did! He and Asher had a blast!

Trying to take a picture on Easter. This is how Fisher felt about that idea...
