Happy Anniversary!

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in October. To celebrate, we left the boys for the very first time and traveled across the country! We explored Utah (Mt. Zion National Park), rode through sand dunes, did a lot of hiking, rafted down the Colorado River, and visited the Grand Canyon. The boys didn't even miss you, which I am so thankful for, and we had a blast! Thankful to do life with my husband!

Summer's Last Hurrah

Well, school has started for our biggest boy, but we crammed some fun into our last week of freedom! We took the older boys to see Despicable Me 3 in theaters; it was really cute and they loved it!

We got to visit with Kyle when YaYa babysat her last weekend. The boys love her and I think she likes them, too!

Fisher has been losing teeth like crazy! He's lost three within the past 2-3 weeks, and his top teeth came out about 3 days apart. He's lost a total of 5 teeth, and I love his gummy grin!

We celebrated Daddy's birthday last week. The boys helped me make him his favorite brownies, and they loved helping him blow out his candles. They were very disappointed that we didn't get him balloons. Whoops!

Soccer season has started! Sullivan has been begging to play for the past two years, and he finally got his chance! It;s going to be a great season!

Happy 5th Anniversary!

Today marks FIVE years since we said "I do". It has flown by! I am so thankful to be married to my wonderful husband, even though marriage is hard. However, it's always more fun when someone is along for the ride with you. :)

We had the most beautiful wedding on the most beautiful day. I loved our wedding, and am so thankful that we had such a wonderful day to start our married life together.

My definition of our marriage has been this: "it's not always easy, and it's not always fun, but it's always worth it."

I have found the man that makes it worth it. I love you and I look forward to many more years together!!

Fathers Day 2012

We celebrated Father's Day on Sunday. Fisher and I are both so thankful to have such as wonderful Daddy. As Fisher gets older, I realize more and more how blessed we are. I'm so thankful to have a husband who gives up his weekends to take care of Fisher so I can work-and enjoys it! He voluntarily gives baths and changes diapers. He doesn't like it if he doesn't get his Fishy time! :)

I've seen a quote that says something along the lines of "anyone can be a daddy, but it takes someone special to be a father." We've definately got a GREAT father!

I almost forgot...



to mention that Nellie and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary on October 13! We had a low key day-I had worked the night before, so I slept in. We caught up on some TV shows, and then went into town to eat at Chilis. I even got to get dessert-Molton Cake. Yum! Then it was back home to watch Robin Hood. Yes, it wasn't a fancy evening, but we enjoyed getting to spend uninterrupted time with each other. The past three years have flown by, and I wouldn't trade them for anything! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband, and I can't wait to celebrate many more years with my best friend!!

I just want to let everyone know how proud I am of my sweet husband! He works at FedEx, and just got a promotion! He's now a ramp agent! Don't ask me to explain what that means. Thanks for being such a hard worker! I love you!!
