Tuesday Outside Fun

Since the weather was so nice today, we spent a lot of time outside. We started the morning off with a long walk through our neighborhood. Then , Sullivan lounged on a blanket in the backyard while Fisher played. After lunch and naps, Fisher played some more while Sullivan slept. We love days like this!!

Gama's Visit and Other Random Pictures

I finally got around to downloading the pictures off of the real camera. It's a hodgepodge of pictures from the past few weeks.

 

Brother took his first nap in his crib! Fisher and I were playing in the playroom, and Sullivan's room is right next door, so he got to snooze in peace and quiet!

Fisher loves to hold Sullivan, but sometimes he loves on him a little too much!

Gama got Fisher a basketball goal for his birthday, and he got to open it a little early since she won't be here for his birthday in June

anxiously waiting for Daddy to finish putting it together. Fisher has loved his "ball goal"!

Plastic Surgery

While I'm off work on maternity leave, I've been attempting to declutter and get rid of a lot of the junk we've managed to accumulate over the years. So far, we've tackled all of the closets, the laundry room, and underneath the bathroom sinks. It's ridiculous the amount of things you think you need to keep!

Anyway, today's project was tackling the Tupperware cabinet. That thing is like a black hole of mismatched lids and containers.

Now, it is a thing of beauty! And it will remain that way until after dinner tonight, when I need something to put leftovers in. :)

Lully's Great Adventure

Fisher insisted that his Lully have her very own trip down the slide. I think she enjoyed it! :)

Fisher is 22 Months Old!

Yes, I know he's still wearing a long sleeved onsie, but it's the only one he has that fits, and I'm not buying a new one for once a month pictures :)

*Fisher weighs 24ish lbs (I'm guessing).

*He wears cloth diapers (size 4 in a disposable) and 12-18 month outfits. He wears a size 5 shoe.

* He still has a great appetite. His current favorite foods are yogurt, grapes, and strawberries.

*He still loves reading books all of the time.

* He is drinking water and milk during the day, but mostly water.
* He goes to bed between 900 and 930, and wakes up around 800-900in the morning..

* He is fighting naps so badly right now! He will nap in the car, but on days when we're at home, he will sometimes take up to an hour to fall asleep! He is not ready to give up naps, as evidenced by his evening meltdowns if he doesn't have one :)

*New words that I can remember slide, wheelie, jump, window, flowers ("fowlers"), goodness, oh my, sir/mam (not always in the right context), boo boo, bless you, outfit, climbing. He is such a parrot right now-repeating everything!

*He is learning his colors and letters. He likes to call everything yellow (lellow). And his ABCs usually go "a, b, c, f".

*He is becoming a very polite little boy. He will say please and thank you very consistently and in the right context. He will say you're welcome (really just welcome) but not all of the time. He will also shake your hand.

*He loves, loves, loves his monster trucks. That, and being outside are his current favorites.

*He loves to hold his brother! "Hold it" as he says when he wants to hold Sullivan. He is also very concerned when Sullivan cries, gets his diaper changes, or is eating (he says "feed Sully").

*Lovie ("Lully") is still very much a constant attachment, and so is his thumb in his mouth when he's tired.
*He now knows his elbows, booty, armpits, chin, knees, etc.

*Still loves taking a shower.

*Nicknames: Fishy, Bubba, Bubby, Baby, Buddy, Bug, love
