Sullivan's 9 Month Checkup

Sullivan had his nine month checkup last week. Everything checked out great! 18 pounds 6 oz, 27.5 inches long, and head circumference of 17.5 inches. His hematocrit was at the lower end of normal (32), so we're increasing his iron rich foods and rechecking it at 12 months. I'm so thankful to have a healthy baby boy!

He hated sitting on the scale!

Fisher loves going to the doctor and playing with the Superman monster truck they have :)

The Not-So-Great Santa Visit

We took the boys to see Santa this past week. Fisher knows who Santa is (well, what he looks like. He has no idea that he's supposed to be the bringer of presents, etc, and that's just fine with me). Fisher has a lot of stranger anxiety, and Sullivan's just starting to enter that stage, so I knew it would be a lot of fun.

The boys did not disappoint. Sullivan cried great big crocodile tears, and Fisher wouldn't touch Santa with a 10 foot pole, although he would sit on the stool beside him as long as he got to hold a candy cane. We asked him if he would sit with Santa, and he said "I not". Well, then. Enjoy these classic Santa pictures. :)

trying to talk it up. He wasn't having it.

they were both in a much better state once we got away from Santa.

love these two!

The Great Christmas Tree Hunt

Every year, we travel to the Christmas tree farm to find the perfect tree to cut down. It's a long standing family tradition, and I love that we get to pass it on to our boys. I can't wait until they start helping pick out the tree! For now, Fisher just wants to run around, and Sullivan just wants to eat everything. :)

they love each other most of the time.
