Baker is 12 Months Old!

* Baker weighs 18 lbs 1 oz (3rd percentile), and is 29 1/4 inches tall (25th percentile).
* He wears size 6-9/6-12/9/12 month clothes, and he wears one size cloth diapers and size 3/4 disposable diapers.
*He's an excellent napper and night time sleeper. He takes a short nap in the morning, and all the boys sleep at the same time in afternoon. He usually goes down for the night around 7:30, and wakes up around 6:30-7:30. He does still occasionally wake up once during the night.
*He loves to climb up the stairs or into the fireplace. He also enjoys climbing into his walker and getting stuck
* He's a great nurser and he loves it!
*He is rotten to the core. He is so spoiled by me! He fusses as soon as he sees me and generally doesn't want anyone else to do anything with him .
*He loves to clap, wave, and point at everything.

*Food:he loves all fruit, but pears are his favorite still. He enjoys peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, turkey, yogurt...he'll eat almost anything!
*He is walking! He's still pretty wobbly, but is getting better at moving around. He still prefers to crawl because it's faster.
*He has 8 teeth-4 on top and 4 on bottom.
*He says "mama", "dada", and "byebye" ("dyedye"), and "na-na", which I think is like "no no". He also says something that sounds like "YaYa" and he makes tons of noises and sounds.
*He is so rotten! He loves to be held and lets you know (very loudly) that he doesn't like it when he gets put down.
* The older boys are still madly in love with him!
* I can't believe that he's already a year old! This past year has flown by, and we've enjoyed every minute of it (mostly). I can't imagine our lives without this sweet little boy, and I am so thankful that God chose to bless us with him!* Nicknames: Baker Baby, Bubby, Baby, Baker Boo Bear

Trash Treasures and Donuts

Weird title, but oh well! Pictures from the rest of our week...

This boy. Since we've moved, and haven't finished all of our renovations, our trash can is now easily accessible for those who care. Well, this little boy cares! I have to redirect him away from it multiple times a day. I found him eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and dumping my diet coke remains on the floor. Oh well!

I love watching Fisher's imagination at work! He made his magnetic blocks into a phone! I had to tell him he couldn't have it at the table-ha! He only wants to call his mama on it, which is ok with me.

We made it to the new Krispy Kreme this week. The boys were so excited! It was rather crowded and they didn't have high chairs, which makes things a little difficult. Baker doesn't eat donuts yet, so I got to hold him and eat mine at this same time. But, we made it!

he loved wearing his hat!

cheese!
I watched all the boys one morning while my sister worked. We had fun in the backyard!
tool time!

More imagining at work. My mom has some post its around her house with notes on it of things that need to be done. Fisher noticed them and has become enamored with making lists. I bought him his own post it supply and let him go to town! Here he's made a calendar and he wrote the corresponding numbers that go with the month. Along with a lot of scribbles. He was perfectly happy to do this instead of napping, so it was a win win situation for me.

Zoo Fun

We made a trip to the zoo on Tuesday morning with our favorite cousins. The weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded at all! The animals were all out-probably because it wasn't as hot as the surface of the sun!

Baker's grin! I pulled out my phone to take their picture and he gave me the biggest cheese ever

Labor Day and A Dentist Visit

Our family photo on Labor Day! We're missing Uncle Gary, because he had to work. Next year we'll have two more babies in this picture!! My sister Jamie is having a little girl in December, and my brother Jacob and his wife are expecting in February.

This boy is into climbing all the things. I can't leave him alone for a minute, not that he lets me out of his sight anyways!

Wednesday morning picture before school!

We went to the dentist on Thursday. The boys were so excited to go and get their new toothbrushes! Fisher got xrays for the first time and did so well. I was so proud of both of them for doing what needed to be done and actually enjoying it. And the best part? No cavities!

letting Dr. Chuck check him out

he's ready!

He told the hygienist that he already knew how many teeth he had-ha

Dr. Chuck said his bottom teeth are getting loose (I can't tell). I'm not ready for him to be big enough to lose teeth, even though he'll be adorable.

Baker's 12 Month Check Up

Last week I took Baker to the doctor for his 12 month check up. Just like I figured, he's tiny but healthy. He weighed 18 lbs 1 oz, which is barely in the third percentile. He's dropped from the 10th to the 3rd percentile, but he's been so active lately that I'm not really worried about it. And, he nurses and eats all the time, so I think he's just small but mighty! He was 29.25 inches tall, which is in the 25-50th percentile, and his head circumference stayed in the 50th percentile at 18.5 inches.

no screaming while getting weighed! huge progress y'all!!

First Week of School

The boys are loving preschool! They go three half days, so I pick them up right before lunch. They've really adjusted well and are still excited about going-we'll see how long that lasts!

first day!

S was sick, so he didn't get to go the first Monday, but he still took a picture for me

he's ready to go!

we do car line drop off in the morning, which I was hesitant about, but the boys have done great!

working on "homework". No, they're not actually assigned any, but we do worksheets at home and they seem to enjoy it
