Catch Up

This one is obsessed with his feet! I feel like he does this a lot more than the older two boys ever did. They are constantly in his mouth.

Sweet sleeping baby in his carseat

They've just discovered the stage at CMOM and had so much fun watching themselves on the big screen. It was hilarious!

The new light board is so much fun!

"I'll steer if you push the pedals!". They've actually offered to do this in my car before.

A craft from MDO. I love it!

Sullivan loves his baby. He always wants to be touching him, kissing him, and sitting right bedside him.

Silly selfie! Sometimes we have a hard time all fitting in the picture.

Shaving cream fun on a cold day a few weeks ago. We had so much fun! I remember doing this when I was little, and I'll admit that I played with it this time around as much as the boys did.

Baker's 4 Month Checkup

We had a great checkup! I only had the younger two boys with me since Fisher was at MDO, and Sullivan was a big helper!

Baker weighed 14 lbs 13 oz (50th percentile), and was 25 1/4 inches long (50th percentile). Baker is my biggest baby by far. Dr. Catherine even asked if I was sure he was mine ha

We are so thankful to have such a wonderful pediatrician! She says we're her easiest patients, because the boys are never sick and I never have any questions or concerns. I'm just thankful for healthy boys!

Baker did not enjoy his shots, but he nursed well afterwards and was only a little fussy the rest of the day. Next checkup is at 6 months. Agh-it's going by so fast!!

Baker is Four Months Old!

* Baker weighs 14 lbs 13 oz (50th percentile). He is 25 inches long (50th percentile) and his head is 16.25 inches (25th percentile).
* He wears size 3-6 month clothes, and he wears size small cloth diapers and size 2 disposable diapers.
*He's awake a lot during thee day now! He generally will take 2-4 naps, with a couple of those being more of a catnap than anything. He generally will take at least an hour long morning nap, and a longer 1-2 hour late afternoon nap.
*He usually sleeps all night long! He'll go down around 10 and sleep until 6 or 7. If he does wake up, it's around 3 or 4, and he goes right back to sleep after eating.
* He nurses all the time-anywhere from every 30 minutes to every 2 hours
*He still hates taking a bottle. While that's not a problem for me, it does create a problem for Daddy and YaYa when they watch Baker while I work.
*His eyes are still blue. They change all the time; sometimes they're more of a gray blue, but they're usually pretty dark.
*He sucks on his fingers all the time. This creates a lot of drool!
*He holds his head up so well now! Tummy time isn't his favorite, but he tolerates it.
*He can roll over! He can go all the way over from belly to back, and about halfway from back to belly.
*He loves to sleep on his belly! I let him sleep like this when he naps on the play mat.
* He loves to be swaddled and sleeps best that way
*He likes to lay on his play mat and watch the light
*He smiles and coos all the time! He loves to "talk"
*He is ticklish! He laughs so hard when I tickle him! I love seeing the dimple on his cheek pop out when he is smiling big.
*He tolerates bath time. He doesn't scream or cry, but he doesn't act like he loves it either!
* He is loved by his brothers! They are always wanting to tell him "good morning" and "good night", and can't seem to keep their hands off him when he's around. They will wake him up and then be so excited that he's awake! If he cries, they tell him "it's ok Baker". Sullivan likes to make him cry and then tell him that "it's ok Bubby"!
* Nicknames: Baker Baby, Bubby

Last Christmas Celebration and NYE

He loves his toes!

Taking a little snooze in Mommy and Daddy's bed

I let the boys help me make chocolate chip cookies a few weeks ago. It went pretty well until I found them sticking the beaters (that they had already been licking) back in the dough so they could get some more!

Our final Christmas celebration at YaYa and Pops' house! Uncle Jacob and Aunt Brette were in Denver for Christmas, so we celebrated when they got back.

Sullivan was so excited! A new pop gun, headlamp, and new blue rainboots.

These boys were all ready for an adventure outside with their new adventure packs that YaYa and Pops got them. They have duct tape, flashlights, a whistle, compass, and everything you could think of for going on an adventure.

NYE. We roasted marshmallows in the fireplace and made s'mores. We watched a YouTube countdown at 8 and drank sparkling grape juice. The boys smelled it and instantly pronounced it "yucky", so I drank alone. We were all asleep by 10. It was perfect!

Playing with the MagnaTiles they got for Christmas. These are a lot of fun!

Christmas Season

He's getting so big and I.can't.handle.it.

We made gingerbread cookies to leave out for Santa. It was a new recipe, and they were so disgusting! The boys liked them, but I didn't, which was probably a good thing. It's all about the experience, anyways.

Christmas at Memaw and Pepaw's house with our whole family.

Obligatory family photo

My elf was slacking on his job.

Santa came!

These boys were ready for Christmas morning!

Every year, our staff feeds the PICU families at LeBonheur whose kids are in our unit over Christmas. I thought this year would be perfect for Fisher to come with me and help. He was less than thrilled to be leaving the new stuff he got for Christmas, but he ended up having a good time. He helped himself to quite a few pieces of bread while he was serving families-ha.
