Sullivan is 8 Months Old!

* Sullivan weighs about 18 pounds..
* He wears size 6-9 month clothes, and he wears one-size cloth diapers (size 3 in disposables)
*He is a mover! He has the army crawl perfected. He's been up on his hands and knees and rocking like crazy, but he hasn't crawled just yet. He's been so close for weeks! He gets around so well with his army crawl, though, that I don't know if he'll try to crawl regularly. :)
*He can go from a laying down position to sitting all by himself.
*He loves to hold onto things and puts everything in his mouth!
 * He nurses every 2-3 hours. When he takes a bottle, he'll drink 4-5 ounces.
*New foods include apples, oranges, and brussel sprouts.
*He will occasionally drink water out of a sippy cup, but only if someone holds it up to his mouth. Otherwise, he just chews on it.
*He loves taking baths! He is constantly splashing in the water!!
*He is definitely a momma's boy! He hates it when I leave the room, and he usually wants me over anyone else.
*He has started reaching when you go to pick him up! So sweet.
* Sleep: not doing so well in this department! He usually wakes up every 3-4 hours. Nap time is a little better. Sometimes he'll take 2 naps that are 1-2 hours long. Other days, it's more naps, with a shorter time period of sleep. We've finally moved him to his room instead of in the pack and play to see if that will help with his sleep. Some nights it works, and the other nights, he ends up back in our room. :)
*He loves to sleep on his stomach or side. As soon as I lay him down, he flips over.
*He has his two bottom teeth.
*He smiles and talks all the time-he is the happiest baby! He loves to laugh and giggle.
*He is ticklish. Anytime I poke him in his armpits or on his tummy, he laughs.
*His eyes are constantly changing color-they will be blue/gray, then hazel depending on lighting and his outfit.
*He is a chatterbox! He talks all of the time. He will say "dadada", but not in reference to Daddy. :)
* He is loved by his big brother, and the feeling is mutual. Sullivan lights up and just grins when Fisher is around. They sit across from each other at the dinner table, and Sullivan is constantly smiling and talking to Fisher. The first thing Fisher does in the morning is run to Sullivan and give him a hug and a kiss.
*We call Sullivan Brother or Brother Bear more often than we call him Sullivan. So much so, that Fisher tells me his name is "Brother John Nelson"
