Sullivan is 21 Months Old!
* Sullivan weighs about 23 pounds.
* He wears 12-18 month clothes, and he wears one-size cloth diapers (size 4 in disposables)
*He is always on the go and constantly getting into things.
* He nurses 2-3 times a day. On the nights that I work, he'll drink a bottle (yes, he still takes a bottle) of almond/whole milk. It's not his favorite, but he'll drink it. Otherwise, he's a water drinker the rest of the time.
*He loves to eat!
*He's doing better about being around strange/unfamiliar people. He doesn't scream anymore, but he's still very leery.
* Sleep is going well for the most part. If he does wake up during the night, be goes back to sleep very quickly.
*He's a major mama's boy and a YaYa's boy.
*He's got a mouthful of teeth and I think he's working on some molars. He's been gnawing on his hands something fierce.
*His eyes are hazel-they're beautiful! They tend to stay brown most of the time, so I think he'll end up being a brown-eyed boy. His hair keeps getting blonder, and the ends have a bit of curl to them. People always ask why I cut his hair and not Fisher's, but Sullivan's hair just doesn't grow!
*He is obsessed with shoes and socks. He's always commenting about people having their "shoes on" and "socks on". He likes to pick out his own shoes and socks to wear, even if he's wearing his pajamas. He has much more of an opinion about his wardrobe that Fisher ever has.
*He is so very curious and inquisitive. He's always asking "doin?" (what are you doing) and "why?". All.the.time. It's exasperating, but I love that he wants to know things.
*He's very much into the "no" and "mine" stage. If he doesn't get his way-major meltdown with lots of screaming!
*He is a huge copycat of his brother. Monkey see, monkey do all the time!
*This child is such a mess and such a joy. He loves to laugh and smile, and he loves to read, just like his brother. We are so thankful he's developing his own personality, even though it screams STUBBORN! or should I just say independent and headstrong?! :)
* Nicknames: Sully, Brother, Bug, Brother Bear, Turkey

An Elf, Santa Visit, and Family Night
I broke down and put out our Elf on the Shelf a week before Christmas. Fewer days means less chances to forget to move it, right?! It was a lot of fun-the elf brought the boys pajamas from the North Pole. I asked Fisher what he wanted to name it, and at first he said "Michelle" (he's never heard that name before), and then he said "Elf". Maybe we'll name him next year. :) the boys loved looking for the elf each morning.
Enjoying a smoothie
Santa pictures did not go as planned. Neither one of them wanted anything to do with him unless we were holding them, and even then they wouldn't speak to him. Maybe next year!
Fisher picked McDonald's for dinner, so that's what we did. The boys had fun with their toys.
Then we ended our family night with a trip to Snowy Nights at the Botanic Gardens. We had a blast!

Enchanted Forest
I took the boys to the Enchanted Forest this week at the Pink Palace. We've been going a little crazy at home, so I figured this would be a fun outing! The boys have never been, and I haven't been since I was little, so we were all looking forward to it.
I thought F would walk with me, but he wanted to ride in the stroller, too.
:)
This is where we spent the majority of our time. We watched the trains go around and around. F would have stayed longer, but S was more than ready to move on.
The gingerbread houses.
We had a fun day! Except for the part where F got away from me and rode up the escalator the wrong way. And I didn't know where he was and was about to have a panic attack until a wonderful volunteer brought him downstairs to me! He said "mommy, why did you not come with me?" Gray hairs, people...

Gingerbread House Fun!
We had fun with the boys building a gingerbread house yesterday. Well, I built it, Sullivan ate the icing and candy, and Fisher decorated it to his heart's desire. :)
He was very serious about where he wanted to put things. Even though that included piling three candy canes on top of each other.
Meanwhile, this one was trying to eat all the candy.
Fisher decided that he had enough of decorating and started eating icing.

Jump n Jams
The boys have been going crazy (and that's an understatement) from being cooped up in the house due to all the gross weather we've been experiencing.
So YaYa had the great idea to take them to free jump time at a local gym that has inflatables similar to Pump it Up. The boys loved it! The place was deserted since most kids are in school, so we has free reign.
The boys jumped and played to their heart's content, and they wore themselves out in the process. We followed up our jump time with a Chick-fil-a lunch date, a hair trim for the big boy, and a much deserved nap time.

Christmas Tree and a Birthday Party
We drove to the Merry Christmas Tree Farm on Friday to find and cut down the perfect tree! More pictures to come from my camera.
They took their sawing job very seriously :)
On Saturday, we went to a gymnastics birthday party off one of our friends. This was the first time the boys had ever done anything like this, and they loved it! They loved the tumbling, the trampoline, jumping in the foam pit, and swinging on the trapeze bar. We had a blast!
