Family is everything to us. We wouldn't be who we are without the love and support of our families. Nellie and I have been blessed with some great family members, and I wanted to show you some of them!!
This picture is of my immediate family at my oldest sister's graduation from pharmacy school.
This picture is me and my sweet grandparents at my graduation in May 2009.
This is Nellie with his sweet mom. She lives in Chicago, so we don't get to see her that often. We love and miss her, though!
This is Nellie and his brother Marc. He's a Memphis firefighter. He and his wife Jenny are expecting a baby boy in September!
This is a picture of MOST of my family at our wedding in October 2007. We love getting together and having a great time!!
And this is Nellie's family at our wedding!
And finally, picture of me with my two favorite boys-my second cousins (but more like nephews) Hunter and Noah. Hunter will be three in August and Noah was born in March of this year. I love my boys!!
We're so thankful for each family member that God has placed in our lives to teach and guide us. We love you!!

So proud!
Our "Children"
We don't have kids yet, but we manage to act like we do, thanks to our two furry children! Meet the girls:
This is Lenny. She's part Lab/Weimeriner/who knows what else. Seh's spoiled rotten. She's the only dog allowed on the furniture-she gets to sit in "her" chair. She loves cuddling with Daddy and hates storms.
This is Duchess. She's all Lab! She's calmed down some in her old age (see the gray whiskers?), but will still chase a ball until she passes out. She's notorious about begging for food and getting in the trash can.
We love our girls, even though we have to vaccuum way more than the average family to keep all of their hair from overtaking the house!!

WOW...
Two posts in one month! I think I'm setting a record for myself! ha I have nothing new to report, other than the fact that I'm not doing much at work right now. I finished my summer clinicals yesterday-YAY! I have a few weeks left of my class before I'm finished with that. And then, a few weeks of relaxation before it all starts back again. Whew-just thinking about it exhausts me! I have to work all weekend while Nellie gets to go to the Bay (Maddox Bay, AR) and play with his boat. Totally not fair...The only other trip we have planned for this summer is going to Knoxville for my cousin's wedding. We are super excited about more time with my sweet family! Have a great weekend!!

Summer, this far
Happy summer!! We've had a whirlwind summer vacation, if you can call it that. BEing a grownup means not much vacation time. Where's the fun in that? I've been busting my butt in school-I have a class, clinicals, and oh yeah, I'm still working full time. Whew...just thinking about it makes me exhausted! Nellie's been pretty busy with softball and work, too. We managed to make it down to Panama City Beach for our yearly family vacation. It was absolutely wonderful-family in a big house, no work, no oil, sunshine, sand, ocean, pleasure reading, and only a tiny bit of schoolwork on my part. We needed this vacation soooo bad. I feel recharged and ready to finish out my summer semester. I have two weeks of clinical left, and about four weeks of class. I can see the light...for this semester anyways. I must persevere...sigh. We've actually managed to hang a few things on our walls-yay!I like to think that we're fully settled in by now, but are you ever?? Who knows. I think that's all I've got for now. I would post more often, but you actually have to have something to post in order to do that. Our lives are failrly mundane...Until next time!
