Daddy's Helper
We were hanging some artwork in the nursery last week, and Fisher just had to get down in the floor to help his Daddy. It made my heart smile. :)

Fisher is 20 Months Old!
can you tell he REALLY wanted that sticker off?? :) |
*Fisher weighs 23ish lbs (I'm guessing).
*He wears cloth diapers (size 3 in a disposable) and 12-18 month outfits. He wears a size 5 shoe.
* He still has a great appetite. His current favorite foods are yogurt, crackers, and bologna.
* He still has a great appetite. His current favorite foods are yogurt, crackers, and bologna.
*He still loves reading books all of the time.
* He is drinking water and milk during the day, but mostly water.
* He goes to bed between 830 and 930, and wakes up around that same time in the morning..
* he still takes one nap a day, usually 1-1.5 hours long.
*New words that I can remember include wow, oh wow, tow truck, school bus, giraffe, monkey, elbow, balloon
*He is OBSESSED with trucks ("crucks"-I'm guessing a combo of car/truck). He will point out every single one that we see-in the car, on TV, books, etc. He loves to see and talk about "big trucks"-even just hearing what he thinks is a truck noise will set him off! He also loves buses right now. He is also obsessed with his tractors, but trucks are the clear winner right now.
*He has been especially loving lately-always giving (wet) kisses and hugs. I love it! He has been very loving to the baby lately-he always to lift my shirt up and kiss the baby, poke my "button" (belly button), and say "bye baby".
*Lovie ("Lully") is still very much a constant attachment, and so is his thumb in his mouth when he's tired.
*He now knows his elbows and booty. We're still working on knees, etc.
*Still loves taking a shower.
*He loves to look at himself in the camera on my phone and play games on my phone, although we're making more of an effort to not have the phone out.
*He loves to help throw clothes, mainly socks, in the dryer. He will also attempt to help me put utensils in the dishwasher, although he would rather take them out! He also likes to help me cook-mainly stirring and trying to lick things.
* The only teeth he lacks are his two year molars.

*Nicknames: Fishy, Bubba, Bubby, Baby, Buddy, Bug, love

36 weeks
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 36 weeks
Size of baby: Baby Nelson is the size of a watermelon
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I've gained 32 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: Maternity clothes if I'm wearing anything besides sweats and tshirts
Gender: We won't know until the baby gets here! I think I'm starting to lean towards another boy, but then I think girl sometimes, too. Daddy thinks girl. After seeing the ultrasound pictures, most people in my family think boy. Most other people think girl.
Movement: Yes! Feeling movement a lot now
Sleep: I'm not waking up as often, so I'm sleeping better ( I still wake up 1-3 times a night). I've been using my big body pillow for the last few weeks, and it's helped me sleep better.
What I miss: A life without back pain and heartburn! (this baby better have a head full of hair...)
Cravings: nothing this week
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks contractions and a few real contractions, too.
Best Moment this week: great doctor's visit-baby's heartrate was in the 140s, and I was dilated 3 cm and 60% effaced!!! The OB also said that the baby is very low. All the furniture is in the nursery, I've got the artwork together, and we're just waiting on the bedding! I also had a prenatal massage this week (a gift from when I was preggo with Fishy!) and it was beyond amazing-I want one every week! :)

Freeze!
I've been working over the past week to get some freezer meals made for when the baby gets here. I've gotten off to a really good start, but there are still a few more things I want to make. I also have a really cute helper, too. :)

Sprinkle for Baby Nelson
My sweet friends from work were so kind as to treat me to a little "sprinkle" for the new baby last week. It is always fun to see these ladies outside of work!
We met at Jason's Deli and great time! Baby and I got a gift card to Target that will come in handy! I am so thankful for sweet fellowship with these friends!!

Happy Valentine's Day!
We had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Not that it was much different from any other day...We're not huge fans of celebrating love on one certain day-I would much rather have random acts of love shown to me. And Hubby is so good about doing that :)
But, I did make my boy a cute shirt, and he did get some goodies (thank you Dollar Spot at Target!). Fishy and I went to my sewing class, then spent most of the day playing and reading. Daddy got up from his nap in time to go with us to the vet (what a date!). Then, Fishy and I headed to my grandparents' for a wonderful dinner (lobster, shrimp, corn, salad...and for dessert-strawberry cake, chocolate pie, and chocolate covered strawberries). After that, I headed to work for a 6 hour shift, Fishy spent half the night with YaYa and Pops until I got off, and Daddy also went to work.
So, I hope your Valentine's Day was as special (or as normal) as you wanted it to be! Ours was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing about it...
