Biting the Bullet

Well, we finally did it. It was a long time coming, and we spent lots of time deciding what to do, but today was the big day. We bought a new camera! We got the Canon Rebel T2i from Best Buy.

Isn't it beautiful?! We've heard lots of great things about this camera from friends, and all the reviews said it was very user friendly with great quality pictures, so we decided that it was the one for us. It also shoots HD video! With the baby coming (SOON), we knew that relying on my old point and shoot wasn't going to cut it anymore.

We have to wait for it to be shipped to us. Interesting fact-Canon makes its cameras in Japan, and they were, of course, affected by the earthquake, tsunami, etc, happening there, so their supply has been limited. I never thought about it like that until the Best Buy guy mentioned it...But, it should be here within a few weeks. Hopefully, that means plenty of time to play around with it and become familiar with our new toy.

So, happy mothers day, fathers day, birthday, anniversary, Christmas...to us for the next little while! :) It's definately worth it, though! We're so excited to be able to capture all of the big moments in our lives with our new camera!!
